Good thing we went. . .

So we made the trip to the doctor. We never go to the doctor, but Mike left work and we all headed to the doctor's office. M' did great. They weighed her and she was 11 pounds 11 oz., they checked her breathing (which was perfect), they tested her for RSV (which was negative) and then they sent us to the lab. There they took her blood to make sure she wasn't dehydrated and then they took two chest x-rays. She did really well through it all and then we headed back to the doctor's office to go over results. This whole thing took about 2 1/2 hours so for the lab part Mike took the kids to McDonalds. Anyways, back to the office we went to look at the chest x-rays. It turned out that M' has pneumonia, so now she is on antibiotics for the next 10 days. That is suppose to clear it up. As long as she is keeping her food down better (which she has) and having wet diapers (which she has) and she doesn't seem to be working hard to breath everything should be clearing up. . .according to the doctor she is contagious until she has been on antibiotics for 24 hours. . .hopefully it will skip the rest of us.
