Dr.

Today was the doctor. All went well. Its been 5 weeks since I've been. Baby's heart rate was 148. . .and she kind of changed my due date to December 5th. She said according to the ultrasound it looked like thinks might be 5 days ahead so she went ahead and changed it. I gained 6 pounds which is what I thought. . .totaling 12 so far. The only concern I had to tell her was that after I eat breakfast I can feel my heart rate speed up. . .it stops probably 1/2-an hour later. . .well doesn't stop beating but slows down. Her comment was sugar. I had thought of the too but all I'm eating is toast with jam or cereal (sugared cereal-Trader Joes- but not chocolate kid cereal) or yogurt and granola. I'm not having caffeine with it so I know its not that. So we'll see. I didn't have gestational diabetes or really any problems with the other two. I have my diabetes test on September 1. She didn't seem very concerned about it so I'm guessing its not that big of a deal. So there you have it, our appointment.

My New Plan

We've been debating what to do about our bed situation. Grace is still in a crib, Obie is still in a crib and baby Pinky will need a crib around 5 months or so (we have a little one kind of like a bassinet). We debated Ikea, we debated twin beds we have gone back and forth. These seem cheap, functional, won't take up the whole room and we won't feel bad getting rid of them and moving to twin beds later. According to the website it would cost about $75 to build 2. Talk about a deal and they are cute! So I think thats the plan. . .now to build them.

Some Cuties.

Thought you might be missing them. . .

Grilled Cheese.

So the other night I made grilled cheese sandwiches. Obie stole one of the pieces of bread off the counter so I ended up with on extra piece of bread that I had happened to butter. . .Well, Mike being the safer that he is decided to stick the bread in the fridge before he went to bed, which means I didn't find it until the next morning. . .we always go back of forth the getting rid of certain items. I love to get rid of stuff and Mike doesn't want to get rid of it if there is nothing wrong with it even if we are probably never going to use it. Anyways, I knew no one was going to eat the old, now stale piece of bread that had been sitting in the fridge so I threw it away and made sure I piled some other trash on top. . .that way there was no finding or saving the toast. (Mike will take it items out of the trash so they need to be hidden. . .well.) So anyways later that day Mike asked where the bread in the fridge had gone, I told him it was gone for good. . .and that I had thrown it way several hours before. He should have known to hide the bread if he didn't want it gone. So he kind of smiled and life went on. Well later in the afternoon we were sitting on the couch, we looked out the window and this is what we saw. . .

I said, "that squirrel has your bread! See I didn't waste it!" Mike studied the bread and isn't convinced it was our bread. . .he says it looks like it was toasted and ours wasn't. I'm claim it was definitely ours and the I threw it out just for the nasty little squirrel. . .

21 Weeks

So its now 21 weeks. Tomorrow is another Doctors appointment. I haven't been in 5 weeks so we will see what happens. I know I've gained at least 5 pounds. . .I feel like I've poped and started actually looking pregnant in this five weeks. Hopefully its not

too more then 5 pounds though. These were taken Saturday morning. Grace is getting pretty good at these belly shots. . .she wounldn't leave me alone.
