Did I mention this is day two with 3 kids alone. . .and its going well. I got a shower, emptied dishwasher, made lunch, made messes cleaned up messes, bathed a baby, exercised for 30 min., put some clothes away, and blogged. Pretty good huh?

Day 2

Today is our second day. . .alone. Me and three wee little ones. Yesterday was productive for the most part. Today I sit on the living room floor with millions of puzzle pieces surrounding me, a sleeping baby on my lap, two kids that have only had chocolate milk thus far and an empty orange coffee cup sitting next to me. Maybe today will turn productive. We'll see.

My Monster.

My boy is getting big. Like so big. Like monster big. These pictures cracked me up. I can't believe how big he' s gotten. Two years again he looked like her. Unbelievable.

Prayer...from a child.

This morning while getting dressed I looked down and noticed I had a red spot on one of my toes. Nothing major, just a little spot that had been rubbing on my shoe. I pointed it out to Grace just for a little conversation. I said, "Hey Grace, Look at my toe. I got a boo boo." Grace licked her finger and then rubbed my toe. She then said maybe that will make it feel better. Then she said we can also pray to God that it will get better. She said it with a little question in her voice, like do you want to do that. I smiled and simply said ok, not quite sure what she was going to do. She then immediately put her hands on my knees (I was sitting down), closed her eyes and then she said "Dear God, please make Mama's toe better. Amen." Then she smiled at me and said "Is it better?" So sweet my little Gracie.

When I Grow Up.

To night Grace told me:

"When I grow up I want to be a pajama racer and then maybe a camel racer."

I questioned, "A camel racer?"

Grace: "Yeah, Like Papa."

[She told me this after she raced Nana with putting on their pajamas. Grace won and was very proud of herself.]

Getting Bigger

M' will be 6 weeks this week. She is starting to grow out of newborn clothes and becoming much more attentive. She is holding her head up really well, staying awake a lot more, and we have even seen a few smiles when we talk to her. She's been a great little baby and G' and O' enjoy loving on her.

an

Time for a post. . .

Watching HGTV in the hotel in Indiana. . .Jenny and Freddy went to a BFAers wedding. . .so we went along and had some fun.
We've had fun in the first snow of the season, right after Christmas.
Grace decided to jump in the picture and pretend she was sleeping. . .she thought she was very clever.

well kind of. This isn't really a post, because I'm not going to post much. . .or say much. Just wanted to let you know we have been having lots of fun, staying really busy, and getting really tired. My Dad left on Friday, Jenny and Freddy leave tomorrow and my Mom leaves on the 13th. . .so our fun is coming to an end. This week is filled with doctor's appointments and grooming appointments, and spa appointments. . .then this weekend we are off to see the Hopson's one last time before they venture off to Albania. . .so we are busy. Our fun is going to be coming to an end and so will my blogging absence. I'll be back. . .just give me a
week.
